FASHION PLATES – 1911
In 1911 Wynne started to cut out and stick in fashion pictures at the back of her diary. She continued to do this, often adding tart little comments about them – partly because most of them were beyond her means, but also because most of them were at the extreme end of the fashion market, and they made her laugh.
Here are a selection, starting with an assortment of veils, and then a choice selection of hats.
