The Diary in November

Wynne started keeping her diary on 18th of this month.

She was 16, and living at the family home, Brookfield, Tarrant Keyneston, Dorset with her parents, and her two siblings, Eva and Elliot.

November 18th – 22nd

Wynne is at home, preparing for the
departure to India of her parents. Her cousin Yso is staying. They
both have lessons with the governess, Miss Scratchley.

November 23rd – 26th

Dress fittings, games and love letters.
Wynne invents a code to stop spies.

November 27th – 30th

Letters, painting classes and making a wish
while stirring the Christmas pudding.
