The Diary in January
In her second year of keeping the diary, Wynne struggles to keep it regularly.
January 21st – 24th
Wynne and her sister Eva go to London, to
spend a few weeks. They are staying near High Street, Kensington,
and plan to do a lot of shopping.
January 25th – 28th
Joined by her favourite cousin, Ysobel Butler,
the girls shop endlessly, and go to see a production of “The
Artist’s Model”.
January 29th – 31st
A daring second visit to the Roman
Catholic Oratory in Brompton Road. Lots more shopping, and some
very fast antics for a girl of 16!
