May 14th – 20th
Wynne has another try at keeping the diary – friends visit, and an invitation to the Sandhurst Ball arrives from a friend – Sonny Wilkinson.
May 21st – 25th
Long expeditions are undertaken with her friends from Chettle. The bee man augments the hives, and a visit is made to Bournemouth.
May 28th
The Sandhurst Ball
This is Wynne’s formal coming out, and she is very excited about it.
May 29th – 31st
After all the excitement, life feels a little dull, but the approach of the Jubilee and the return of Charles Maclean make life more interesting.
