December 1st – 15th

Wynne visits some of the indigo ‘factories’, including one she remembered from a previous visit. There is hunting during the day, games and music in the evening.

December 17th – 31st

Xmas week. Much coming and going. Wynne’s mother attends the Durbar for the new Maharaja of Darbhanga and Wynne takes her first toss.
