The Diary in January
The 6th volume of the diaries take Wynne and Herbert to a new army posting, in Sheffield.
January 1st – 10th
Wynne and family are staying with her mother at Brookfield for the Xmas holidays.
January 12th – 22nd
Still at Brookfield, Wynne visits many of the elderly villagers and organises a mothers’ tea party
January 23rd – 31st
Wynne and Herbert move to Sheffield where Herbert has a temporary posting.
They start house hunting.
