Back to Army and domestic duties.

July 1st – 9th

Pouring rain threatens the hay, but pounds of fruit are picked.

Wynne goes to Bulford again. Her husband is in camp nearby.

July 10th – 18th

A week at Bulford visiting old friends, but a sad end for Jacob, her old horse.

July 20th – 31st

The Artillery Memorial in the Mall is unveiled, commemorating those lost in the South African War.

Back in Aldershot, Wynne pays numerous calls and goes to watch the War Games.
