The London holiday ends and the family return to Tarrant Keyneston

Wynne receives the news of her husband’s promotion.

March 18th – 26th

A first visit to Aldershot.

Brigadier General Jackson is now in command of the 2nd Division, Royal Artillery.

March 27th – 31st

Easter in the village.

Good weather, energetic gardening and some new servants arrive.

March 1st – 6th

London excitements: theatres, the Opera and the Natural History Museum.

Wynne makes full use of the capital.
