Very unseasonal weather...and more illness.
But Wynne is joined by her sister and mother, both back from India.
April 1st – 10th
Freezing conditions and snow postpone the Army exercises.
Wynne’s sister arrives after delays and confusion.
April 11th – 19th
Herbert finally goes off to Camp, and Eve and her daughter arrive to stay.
Herbert manages a brief return home to celebrate Easter.
April 20th – 30th
Win is pronounced ill with whooping cough…and Wynne’s mother turns up unexpectedly.
Wynne remembers her husband’s proposal of marriage twelve years ago.
