Chicken pox! And torrential rain.
August 2nd –
7th
It’s a terrible
summer, with torrential downpours. Everyone is complaining, even
the relatives in India…
August 8th –
14th
Rain and yet more
rain…Wynne’s entries feel very contemporary!
August 15th
– 22nd
To compound the
miserable weather, both daughters catch chickenpox from their brother,
recently returned from boarding school.
August 23rd – 31st
The Royal Artillery Sports
Day livens things up, as does Baby and a garden party which was not rained
on!
