A long visit to Wynne's family home in Dorset, then back to Army duty.

July 1st – 7th

Wynne does her duty, at home and abroad

July 8th – 13th

Wynne spends some time at Brookfield with Gran, and sees the kingfishers,
but at home two naughty girls go without pudding.

July 15th – 21st

Field Days and visitors from Canada

July 22nd – 31st

Duties in Aldershot, pleasure in London, but her son is detained in school
with chickenpox.
