The Diary in May
The Telegraph, Car accidents, Aeroplanes and Anna Pavlova - then off to Wales.
May 1st – 6th
Wynne is based at Aldershot, and this month has to wave goodbye to
3 of her household – 2 children off to school, and her husband to
Army camp in Wales.
May 10th – 16th
Anna Pavlova dances in London, Granny admires the new aeroplanes
and Blanche has a bad motor-car crash!
May 18th – 25th
A royal visit to Aldershot, and the start of a great expedition to
Wales…in a motor car!
May 26th – 28th
Watching Artillery manoeuvres in the Welsh hills,
and enjoying being with her husband again…this visit continued into June.
