Army duties for the start of autumn

October 1st – 7th

The usual chores for an army wife in
Aldershot.

October 8th – 14th

More duties. Wynne’s husband is the Commanding
Officer, so she is much in demand and has to perform many public
services.

October 15th – 21st

A visit to Herbert’s mother at Springfield,
near Chelmsford. Then its back to Aldershot for the continuing round
of duties.

October 22nd – 30th

Lectures, concerts and various dinners – some
to Wynne’s liking, others not!
