The Diary in July

Army chores, a propaganda film and London outings.

July 1st – 7th

Army chores at Aldershot, a picnic and then
a welcome start to a London jaunt…

July 8th – 14th

In London, Wynne visits the theatre, sees
Pavlova dance and has a good time before reluctantly returning home.

July 15th – 21st

Bad weather means the Mothers Meeting tea
is reorganised…but her brother’s new car means some welcome (and
unwelcome) diversions…

July 22nd – 31st

A visit to the Ladies Horticultural College,
Field Days and a French Tutor…but the real excitement is watching
a propaganda film of the Army being shot.
