May 1st – 9th
Slugs and variable
weather, but Wynne also finds time for a visit to London to see
a play.
May 10th – 16th
The Royal Visit to Aldershot, marred by
her husband’s absence at the annual army camp.
May 17th – 23rd
Her cousin comes to stay: a good excuse
for another London visit and other “mad” excursions, including a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show.
May 24th – 31st
Departure for Venice, and the longed-for
reunion with her brother, Elliot.
