A visit to London to see ex POW, Philip Lyster.

The Versailles Peace Conference continues.

March 6th – 8th

Provisions in the shops are back to normal, and the sandbags have been removed from the Abbey. Wynne meets Philip Lyster, a POW for the duration of the War.

March 12th – 31st

Women’s Institute activities are beginning to bring in money, and she hears from her niece en route to India. The Peace Conference staggers on with no outcome, but at least the UK strikes are over.
