The Diary in November
AT LAST!
They move house to live at Broughtons, near Newnham, in Gloucestershire.
November 16th
They move at last, only to find that the painters have barely started, so upheaval continues…but its new friends, a wonderful view, and the excitement of electric light for the first time in their lives.
November 27th
The house gradually takes shape – the painting is almost done – and the gardening begins in earnest! Another letter comes form Munich.
