Labour unrest and strike threats worry everyone.

April 1st – 11th

Considerable unrest and unease. Wynne’s son signs up as the Govt. call for recruits that might be needed if a General Strike materialises.

April 12th – 22nd

The labour Triple Alliance splits, and the strike threat diminishes.

April 23rd – 30th

The strike threat lifts…and the girls go back to school.
