Efforts to encourage local women to vote are not met with much enthusiasm.
She contemplates with sadness the imminent departure of her son.
October 11th – 20th
Much community visiting, and the annual service and conference of the Mothers Union in Gloucester.
October 21st – 29th
The heavy luggage for her son is packed and despatched.
They all travel up to London
