August 1st – 7th
Astride a horse fro the first time in Wynne’s life (previously side-saddle was de rigueur).
He daughter has malaria, and she is worried. Coffee plants and fruit trees arrive.
August 8th – 22nd
Massive plantings continue and the fireplace has to be dismantled and rebuilt.
August 27th – 31st
Planting the Kei Apple hedge…and a weekend in town to dance and shop, the first break from the farm for Wynne in 7 weeks.
