The Diary in December
Christmas in the tropics - a visit to Uganda to celebrate.
December 1st – 7th
A few days off the farm, but Wynne finds herself mending all the bachelors clothes!
December 8th – 18th
Making jelly and fancy dress costumes…and the wheat is harvested.
December 21st – 24th
A Fancy Dress dance, dancing until daylight, and then a drive into Uganda for Christmas. They visit the Owen and Ripon Falls, which no longer exist.
December 25th – 31st
A jolly Christmas party in Jinja, before returning home, their house now renewed with a new plastering of mud.
