The Diary in April

Malarial fever rages, but Kitale receives a visit from the Governor.

April 1st – 10th

Fever abounds, and one friend has to be driven to hospital in Nairobi.

April 11th – 21st

The rain arrives. Wynne comments on the rapidly developing area.

April 22nd – 30th

Wynne’s son has the fever, and a course of injections is agreed. Meanwhile, the Governor of Kenya attends the 1914-1915 All Services Dinner, hosted by Herbert, Wynne’s husband.
